Troop Cookie Delivery Assistance - Camp Indian Echo (Hudson)

Description

  • Welcome troop volunteers as they enter the truck line. Explain the process to the troop volunteers to help set expectations.
  • Use the provided cookie order form (bubble sheet) and assist troop volunteers when they receive their product from the delivery agent – count product with the troop volunteer. Extra set of eyes helps the Girl Scout Volunteers.
  • Ensure troop volunteers do not feel rushed, feel welcomed, and have had the time to verify their product before it is loaded into their vehicle.
  • Assist troop volunteers with loading product into  their vehicles AFTER the cookies have been counted.
  • Do not interrupt the delivery agent as they are stacking the cookies by removing cookies from the pile they are creating. Wait until the delivery agent has confirmed the stack can be counted by the volunteer. Once the volunteer has verified the cookies, then they can be loaded into the vehicle.
