Support Girl Scout Fest by hosting a fun, hands-on activity at your own table! This opportunity is open to Service Units and individual troops who want to help create a memorable and engaging experience for attending families. Activities should be interactive and suitable for a variety of ages. We'll provide guidance and suggestions if needed.
What’s Involved:
- Plan and lead an activity at your assigned table (all supplies must be provided by troop or su)
- Help represent your SU or troop in a fun and welcoming way
- Engage girls and families as they visit your station
What You’ll Receive:
- A patch and Girl Scout Green Team volunteer shirt (if this is your first time volunteering with Council)
- Free event entry for all activity facilitators (girls and adults) to Girl Scout Fest
- Tables must be staffed for the entire event by both adults and Girl Scouts. This role is scheduled 8:30am - 2:30pm, but it is up to each group to coordinate shifts/coverage of your table.
- Girls can earn Community Service Bar hours, and Juniors can work toward their Program Aide Patch.
- You’ll receive one 8-foot table in a 10x10-foot event space.
- You must bring your own supplies and prepare for up to 1,000 participants to visit your table.
- You must bring your own chairs – all chairs must have rubber protective covers to comply with venue guidelines.
