Support Your Girl Scout Sisters

Sign up to support your Girl Scout sisters who were affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Select a need shared by a family in our council and recruit multiple troops, members, or your service unit to rally together to support the specific needs of the Girl Scout family. Once signed up we will put you in contact with the family directly to coordinate the details of their need and share exact location information.

Support GSWCF Camp Properties

Opportunities to support the debris clean up at our camps will be shared ongoing. Sign up below to be notified of those opportunities and/or to volunteer with clean-up efforts at one of our affected camp properties as they are posted. Volunteers must be Girl Scout Juniors and above (children at least 8 years old) with a chaperone to participate in this opportunity.

Be a Proud Girl Scout Supporter

For many months, we’ve been planning today’s launch of our Proud Girl Scout Supporter campaign, which aims to inspire individuals and families to embrace Girl Scouts of West Central Florida as their charity of choice.

With unexpected insurance deductibles, repairs of non-insured areas, and increased expenses for camps – financial support from donors is even more critical. You can show your support by:

1. Sharing your Girl Scout story on social media with the hashtag #ProudGirlScoutSupporter. Let others know why you're passionate about making a difference and link to our donation page.
2. Encouraging others to donate or get involved with our mission. We developed a tool kit with ready-to-go messages.
3. Becoming a Proud Girl Scout supporter yourself by donating $25+.

All Proud Girl Scout Supporters will receive the Proud Girl Scout Supporter Patch as a small token of our gratitude.

While we have heard that most of our Girl Scout community is safe, with debris clean-up and some power outages, our hearts ache for those enduring flooding or substantial damage from Hurricane Helene.
