Needs From: Girl Scouts of West Central Florida

Overview:
The Leadership Center Reception Host serves as the friendly face of Girl Scouts of West Central Florida on Saturdays. This volunteer helps create a welcoming environment for all visitors and provides helpful direction to ensure a smooth and positive experience.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests as they arrive at the Leadership Center. Answer the doorbell and welcome visitors into the building. Direct guests to the Girl Scout store, meeting rooms, or restrooms as needed. Provide general information about the building and programs when appropriate. Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor as a representative of Girl Scouts of West Central Florida.

Schedule:
Saturdays (Shift 1: 9am-12pm; Shift 2: 12pm-3pm)

 

Ideal Volunteer:
Friendly, reliable, and enjoys interacting with people. No prior Girl Scout experience required—just a welcoming smile and willingness to help!

Age: 18+

In need of at least 2 girls per shift, plus chaperonesGirls should be Cadettes, Seniors, or Ambassadors with gift wrapping experienceGirls should wear their uniformsGift wrap supplies will be provided

GSWCF is seeking volunteers to help in our office during the week. Volunteer tasks could include prep for events, sorting or packing supplies, stuffing folders or bags, organizing, and more.

The opportunity is perfect for:  Individuals or small groups

Age appropriate for:  16 and over

Skill level:  Basic – counting and sorting

Dates: After you register we will reach out whenever we have a need to coordinate a date (Mon - Fri) and time that works for you.
